Alfred H. Smith was born August 9, 1822, supposedly to Alfred and Anna Smith in New York City. He married Hannah Knapp of Putnam County NY. They had two sons (Augustus & Elias) born in Peekskill, Westchester County NY. He also purchased land in the town of Kent, Putnam County NY in 1845. Hannah died in 1847, and was buried in Carmel, Putnam County NY. Afterwards, Alfred moved to Wisconsin and lived just outside of West Bend until his death in 1895. I am seeking information on his parents and siblings if any. Featured Photo
